Everyone has a story. Everyone has a message. If you live long enough you encounter challenges. Some may be trivial in the eyes of another, but for you it is life altering. Never discount the crossroads you face nor downplay their significance for your continued life’s journey.
You may have faced a traumatic situation early on – maybe a disease, physical or sexual abuse, homelessness, drug addiction, bullying, identity crisis, abandonment, sexual assault, etc.
This message is to encourage you that although you may have faced or are currently facing this type of situation (even if your challenge is not depicted in the above list), you are directed to read this post because God loves you and desires for you to be an overcomer.
You can survive and thrive from anything faced.
God’s promises are what can be your stability in the midst of the chaos!
God promises us a future of hope and prosperity:
Jeremiah 29:11 New International Version
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Proverbs 23:18 New International Version
There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.
Psalm 9:18
For the needy will not always be forgotten, Nor the hope of the afflicted perish forever.
We can all be overcomers:
John 16:33
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”
1 John 2:13
I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one I have written to you, children, because you know the Father.
1 John 4:4
You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
1 John 5:5
Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Revelation 2:7
‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.
Revelation 2:17
‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches To him who overcomes, to him I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and a new name written on the stone which no one knows but he who receives it.’
Revelation 2:26
‘He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, TO HIM I WILL GIVE
I write this particular message since I personally know what it means to fight to live and thrive again after becoming a victim of a traumatic life circumstance. You can hear part of my testimony by viewing my real and raw video of why The Thankful Revolution was conceived.
Out of desperation we sometime burst out of our normal scenario to rewrite our life story. So, I chose life not a lie and I chose to correct my ending to not be a Victim but thrive as a Victor.
Why The Thankful Revolution: Miriam shares her testimony
If you have become a victim from whatever circumstance that has happened in your life, it is okay to grieve, feel pain, anger, hurt, sadness, etc.
You matter and you should never be ashamed of who you are or what has been done to you and in you.
You can become liberated from being a victim into being a victor by choosing to change the ending outcome.
VICTIM Versus VICTOR
Think about it. In the word Victim the end paints you as IM (or I am). Realize you can choose to not remain as I AM a victim and erase that ending and edit it with OR.
What do you mean change the outcome of the word that has been spoken in your life through a course of situations, devastations, perpetrations, and manipulations. You can now change the trajectory of your situation instead of it ending as a victim’s tragedy you now have another option.
What is this option?
Well, you can live in a continuum of defeat, desperation, depression, death OR you can be that preordained more than a conqueror that God created you to be from the beginning of time when He breathed life into your existence and become a VICTOR!
It will take some work. But rest assured that you are not alone to fend for yourself as you dig out of the pit of pity and pestilence. You are empowered to survive and thrive.
You can decide to choose life as a victor by just changing the ending of the initial word spoken into your life. God created you to thrive as His Masterpiece. Don’t be duped to believe the lie or a violator’s words and actions. The Greater One lives in you and you are an overcomer!
Just say no to Victim and Yes to Victor. Not only will you have to regain your voice (your internal strength) but you will have to believe that all things are possible for you to be okay and live a life of joy, peace, love, safety, health, liberty, etc.). It may seem like an impossible task for you in your current situation. Maybe you are scared, Fear happens and it is a real situation that cripples us into never changing our story.
Remember you have a story and it is a valuable one that everyone needs to know about because you matter and your life is crucial for everyone else in this world. You are not along this life’s journey by mistake nor are you reading this post out of a coincidence.
It is your N.O.W. (New-Beginnings is our Witness) Time! You can take up your own pen to paper and simply scratch out the I AM (IM) out of Victim to now permanently write in (OR) because now you have chosen to have a different ending as a Victor.
There are steps in your change journey and a tribe of supporters that will help you along your way to ensure that your decision to no longer be a victim but a victor remains permanent.
You may be asking how can I come out of being a victim transcending into a survivor who ultimately thrives in a life that is more abundant and one that God predestined?

It is time for you to enjoy your life. It is time for you to change the direction your life has and/or have been taking by realizing that God wants you to thrive, prosper, and be liberated. God loves you with an insatiable ability to wipe away all cares, worries, scares, fears, doubts, and haters. He wants you healthy and happy. God declares you can be whole – born again into a blissful life.
Realize we are no longer controlled by the things that happened to us when we take back our ownership and right to live an abundant life. We have the power of choice. This is an awesome fulfilling decision where we can truly dictate how the rest of our life plays out. We don’t have to keep nurturing the messed up messages that others try to assault us with out of their own insecurities and defects. Realize, we are not victims or damaged goods BUT we are beautiful, wonderful masterpieces that God created in His image!
We will usher in a newness in our atmosphere and mind to know we thrive and this is our goal in life one step at a time one breath at a time one moment at a time. We are thrivers not only survivors and Victors no longer victims!
It is okay to scream out your truth that may not be understood by others. It is okay to walk away from the crowd when you are healing. You must regain your sense of purpose and destiny and sometimes that takes a moment of solitude. Just know when you are in that healing process to not dig yourself into a hole where you are too reclusive to breathe again, grow again, love again, and ultimately live again. There are others like you, like me who have “gone through” or are still “going through” who are there to be your support system – your new tribal community to build you up with hope, love, peace strength, and purpose. You are worth it! And others need to know who you are and what you have overcome or are overcoming so that they too can gain courage to change their ending from victim to victor.
Never stop living and never stop influencing others with your truth to soar again into a new beginning! You inspire us by writing your new story, as well as, do positively influence others by regaining your voice to break out of the silence!
Let us pray that all of the messed up stuff that we have endured, God heals, delivers, and sets us free to move into our next phase of living a life where He guides, secures, loves, restores, brings joy, and saves. And as we enter into a new truth for our lives, let us stand on God’s truth that never fails and embrace this as our new word to live by.
I rejoice with your free will choice to choose life of faithful obedience to God’s original plan for your life. Let us now continue to live life and that life more abundant!

The Thankful Revolution 
Thank you so much for posting this. God’s timing is always perfect.
I am a VictOR on from things you listed. What I mean by God’s perfect timing of this message being posted today, is that I had two conversations today with loved ones and being a VictOR of the three named abuses, sexual physical and emotional, I was given the opportunity to share that although these memories are of sorrow, letting go and understanding that are open wounds are not only being closed and healed, but being set free.
Our Lord still heals, and His timing, regardless where we are in life, how old we are or young, (coversation was with “millennial and gen X as the system calls them) we are God’s now generation, being awakened, and pulled out and being used to pull those out too close to the fire not knowing.
So, I was given understanding to share in love, God’s love, and let know that although we are all going through trials, we are being prepared to go home to our Lord, Jesus. He is refining His bride, preparing His warriors for the time that is coming, of tribulation, but at the end, those that are awakened are being prepared now, for His glory.
Therefore, we stand as a VictOR, united in the strength of our Beloved, Lord Jesus Christ, and not as the VictIM of this fallen world.

Lord set the captive free! Release all who have been hidden in a realm of abuse, chaos, and insecurity. Father, you are a healer and you are the healer for all those who have been bruised, battered, beaten, and bludgeoned! Lord, thank you for WHOLENESS in mind, body, spirit, and soul for all who cry out in silence. WORD for you: Think about it. In the word Victim, the end paints you as IM (or I am).
