There is a choice we all have to make before the NEXT:LIFE versus LIES
So, what are you doing or going to do while you are in the process Before the NEXT shows up for you?
Previously, God shared with me to thank him for the NEXT. God broke down N.E.X.T. in the following manner.
NEXT is as follows:
N = New-Beginnings – you provide us a testimony of overcoming victories one step at a time, one breath at a time, one moment at a time in our journey.
E = Every step of our life’s journey. You are our ETERNAL Destination and Everlasting Promise! Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be done here on Earth as it is in Heaven.
T = Thanksgiving and Praise all belongs to you. So, in our next we provide continuous gratitude and thankfulness. Lord, you have gone before us and provide us the victory and we commit to praising you. For the battle is not ours it is yours our father.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6
Before, we get to the NEXT there is a process. We may be in the midst of a struggle and a situation that is a challenge. God instructs us to rejoice in all situations at all times and that especially means while in the process before we get to the next step, next level, next phase, next breakthrough, next manifested blessing, and next revelation. So, as we continue in our life’s journey it is vital to rest in the moment where our faith is zoned into God’s promises and our declarations are based on Kingdom principles.
Therefore, while we “go through” we must focus on God’s unfailing word of truth like some of the following:
Isaiah 43:2: God promises to be with us and protect us through the waters, rivers, and fire.
John 16:33: Jesus assures us that we can have peace in Him, even though we will have trouble in the world.
James 1:2-4: James encourages us to rejoice in our trials, because they produce steadfastness and maturity in us.
Romans 8:38-39: Paul declares that nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 Corinthians 10:13: Paul reminds us that God will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear, and will provide a way out.
Before my NEXT was my journey to learn how to BREATHE AGAIN.
It is important to rejoice in the Lord for every opportunity to grow and learn more about His goodness and mercy that runs after us all of our working hours.
2 Corinthians 9:8 – And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
Again, the only thing that stays constant is God’s word that is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. So, let us not give up and relent to the obstacle that we see in our lives, but focus on the invisible but assured word of God that is always coming to past for us in a very real and present help. If we do not faint, we do reap – so don’t give up in well-doing but stand firm and rest while in the midst.
My waking up confession and declaration is “God your JOY is my strength!” Lord, you are my help and guide this day every step of my way. I thank you Jesus for giving your life so that I can enjoy a right relationship with God my Father (You God are the author and finisher of my life. God, you know my beginning, my middle, and my ending in this realm on this planet and beyond for an eternal life). God, I thank you for all things work together for my good because I love you and I am your beloved and you have called my name (Miriam) to be your very own daughter – apple of your eye and masterpiece. Thank you, LORD!
When I experienced an unforeseen by me event that changed the trajectory of my life – God was there to guide me through. No one ever thinks when they awake a certain day that tragedy would bust through their door to try to kill you. I surely didn’t but God who has never left me or forsaken me provided and still provides the help I need to continue. So, before my Next I rejoice that I am blessed. I am so grateful for God’s protection and deliverance. I am overwhelmed that He loves me so much to keep me even through the tough times I have experienced that was a very dark place. I just existed as an empty shell, but it is through God’s ever-present help and surrounding me with His love that I remain here today to type this message. So, yes, I am thankful Before the NEXT!
Colossians 1:13 – He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.
What darkness surrounds you now? What hope have you loss? What clouds the very vision of light for you to find in the midst of all of the gloom, doom, and decay that impacts your thoughts, environment, and life choices?
What I can say is although you may be in a very hard place that seemingly is not changing…if you could just begin to speak to yourself – I am not forsaken and God loves me. RIGHT BEFORE YOUR NEXT is a choice you and I – we ALL have to make. The choice is LIFE or LIES. If you break down those 2 words, they have the same beginnings …. they both start with “LI” but somewhere in the midst or during the process of evolution the ending has changed, a substation has occurred, and additions and substructions are visible.
So, in our journey we always have the same starting point, middle, with an end result that is prompted with the “L.I.” They are equaled to the “Learning Instructions” that we will embrace for whatever we face. So, everyone can get a download of guiding principles to follow, meditate upon, and hold in our heart as truth to trust for how we operate in our daily situations.
Whichever Learning Instructions we eagerly embrace and embark upon every day is the fundamental decision we make as we awaken and commence our existence.
What things do you think about and dwell on in your mind. How does your brain function when you face anything – any choice – any adversity – any challenge – any and everything you face you think about what you will do first and then you act upon those thoughts. SO, what LI = Learning Instructions is your “go to ” while you are in your process?
Again, the choice is yours – do you fall into the I choose LIFE category, or you succumb to the LIES that will negatively impact you before your NEXT?
Now, as mentioned previously while in the process Before our NEXT the crossroad to pick a pathway that leads you on a journey with an inevitable outcome for glorious eternal life is present and available.
VERSUS
The suggestions that yielding to trickery and what seemingly is a “good opportunity or maybe even an appearance of profit” when walked into or chosen will manifest into a deadly, treacherous, and often negative tragedy. That is accepting the LIE which results in a DIE.
I recall how Abraham gave LOT a choice to pick a place to live. So, he yielded to the suggestion of what “looked” good and chose a deadly place to call his home. The story of Sodom and Gomorrah ends with destruction. What looks good is not always the best choice to make and is often presented with suggestions that hey the temporary view seems better in this area instead of really investigating the entire landscape to see what is actually going on before your next choice and decision is to take root in a home that is deadly. All this happened because Lot believed the LIED of his EYES.
Genesis 13 The Message Version
13 1-2 So Abram left Egypt and went back to the Negev, he and his wife and everything he owned, and Lot still with him. By now Abram was very rich, loaded with cattle and silver and gold.
3-4 He moved on from the Negev, camping along the way, to Bethel, the place he had first set up his tent between Bethel and Ai and built his first altar. Abram prayed there to God.
5-7 Lot, who was traveling with Abram, was also rich in sheep and cattle and tents. But the land couldn’t support both of them; they had too many possessions. They couldn’t both live there—quarrels broke out between Abram’s shepherds and Lot’s shepherds. The Canaanites and Perizzites were also living on the land at the time.
8-9 Abram said to Lot, “Let’s not have fighting between us, between your shepherds and my shepherds. After all, we’re family. Look around. Isn’t there plenty of land out there? Let’s separate. If you go left, I’ll go right; if you go right, I’ll go left.”
10-11Lot looked.He saw the whole plain of the Jordan spread out, well watered (this was before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah), like God’s garden, like Egypt, and stretching all the way to Zoar. Lot took the whole plain of the Jordan. Lot set out to the east.
11-12 That’s how they came to part company, uncle and nephew. Abram settled in Canaan; Lot settled in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent near Sodom.
13 The people of Sodom were evil—flagrant sinners against God.
14-17 After Lot separated from him, God said to Abram, “Open your eyes, look around. Look north, south, east, and west. Everything you see, the whole land spread out before you, I will give to you and your children forever. I’ll make your descendants like dust—counting your descendants will be as impossible as counting the dust of the Earth. So—on your feet, get moving! Walk through the country, its length and breadth; I’m giving it all to you.”
18 Abram moved his tent. He went and settled by the Oaks of Mamre in Hebron. There he built an altar to God.
When we start to listen to “Learning Instructions” that have us yielding to an outcome full of LIES that means we chose to accept “Evil Suggestions” from the father of lies – Satan. Think about it how many times have we stopped our NEXT breakthrough because we listened and looked at a situation that “seemingly” we could not believe or trust God on the matter. We took a safe route. We listened to the suggestions of “appearance” instead of standing still enough to seek God’s instructions on the matter first.
So, LIES always present Learning Instructions tainted with Evil Suggestions.
LIES = Life Instructions Evil Suggestions
Satan slides suggestions into our view to infiltrate our thought life so much so that it clouds us to have an ability to not be swayed by a temporary fix or a seemingly “good” ease of a situation. Think about the origins of our plight today…it started with a suggestion from the father of lies to Adam and Eve to not adhere to God’s Learning Instructions for how to navigate in the Garden of Eden.
Did God really provide clear instructions on what to do and not to do when it came to eating a certain fruit from a certain tree in the Garden of Eden? Or was it just a matter of interpretation? Perhaps there was something more to it, a hidden truth that Adam and Eve were meant to discover. Could it be that questioning God’s command was justified, and that there might be a better outcome if they chose a different path?
Genesis 3: 1-8 The Voice Version sets the stage for how God’s initial L.I. (Learning Instructions) was manipulated by the great deceiver and father of lies who simply suggested an opportunity to veer away from truth that God shared. Once Eve and Adam began to dwell in their mind that surely this alternative “supposedly fact” is okay to accept, then literally ALL HELL BROKE OUT! The suggestion was put out there and the acceptance to act upon the LIES was done.
3 Of all the wild creatures the Eternal God had created, the serpent was the craftiest.
Serpent(to the woman): Is it true that God has forbidden you to eat fruits from the trees of the garden?
Eve:2 No, serpent. God said we are free to eat the fruit from the trees in the garden. 3 We are granted access to any variety and all amounts of fruit with one exception: the fruit from the tree found in the center of the garden. God instructed us not to eat or touch the fruit of that tree or we would die.
Serpent:4 Die? No, you’ll not die. God is playing games with you.5 The truth is that God knows the day you eat the fruit from that tree you will awaken something powerful in you and become like Him: possessing knowledge of both good and evil.
6 The woman approached the tree, eyed its fruit, and coveted its mouth-watering, wisdom-granting beauty. She plucked a fruit from the tree and ate. She then offered the fruit to her husband who was close by, and he ate as well. 7 Suddenly their eyes were opened to a reality previously unknown. For the first time, they sensed their vulnerability and rushed to hide their naked bodies, stitching fig leaves into crude loincloths. 8 Then they heard the sound of the Eternal God walking in the cool misting shadows of the garden. The man and his wife took cover among the trees and hid from the Eternal God.
As we navigate through the complexities of our modern world, it is important to acknowledge the ongoing repercussions of Adam and Eve’s fateful decision to ignore the teachings and instructions bestowed upon them by our divine Creator. Their choice to succumb to falsehood rather than embrace the path of truth continues to affect our lives today. It serves as a reminder of the significance of making wise choices and considering the long-term consequences they may entail.
Conversely, we can decide to live a life trusting the truth of God’s word regardless of what our eyes can see, or our ears hear. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of the unseen.
When at the crossroad of a crisis an opportunity is presented and it is to choose LIFE instead of accepting LIES – basically if you trust God’s word – then your destiny and situational outcome will be positive, affirming, and blessed.
LIFE begins with Learning Instructions but with a fiery twist that refuses to give in to wicked temptations. The individual who selects life ardently contemplates and fervently embraces faith-enriched commandments.
Life means trust in God’s Faith-Filled Edicts no matter what is faced. Such a person can find solace in their voyage, fully trusting and unreservedly embracing God’s promises.

My own journey is wrought with anxiety laden moments that caused me to have to make life and death decisions. I had to push through the pain of a personal life trauma to not remain a voiceless victim. Everyone will face something that can lead you into a dark situation onto a rocky road where you hit a wall and never recover.
Yes, stuff happens!
The sorrow endured as a result of losing a cherished individual such as a son, daughter, father, mother, spouse, or anyone deeply valued is profound. The grieving process can often be burdensome and all-consuming.
It is hurt that cuts the heart when we suffer tragedy. The ruined peaceful life we existed in once is no more.
HOW Canwe get through this is the question we think about day and night?
All that consumes our minds is the relentless and overwhelming torrent of negative thoughts and despair that surrounds us in these tumultuous times. It feels as though we are locked in a constant battle against the forces of hopelessness. But fear not! Together, we shall rise above this storm and embrace a future filled with positivity and boundless opportunities for growth and happiness!
If only we could traverse the depths of darkness and emerge victorious in the realm of hope, free from the shackles of agony and despair. Oh, how our hearts ache! Yet, if we dare, let us inhale deeply and allow our spirit to be revived, pulsating with a life more abundant, as proclaimed by the divine. In this resuscitation, we shall grasp the true essence of God’s promises, embracing them with unwavering faith and unyielding devotion to shape our destiny. May our souls be set ablaze with passion, for it is through this fervor that we shall conquer all obstacles and thrive in the realm of possibility.
Lord, I have often cried out to you because I feel the very essence of my being slipping away and if I could only catch a breath to get to the next moment then I know I will be okay. In this desperate time where I have to make a decision, I choose to concentrate on God’s truth in the matter. I will rely on God’s Faith-Filled Edicts that is declared throughout the entire Bible.
God is the ultimate authority in life and what He says goes. So, I pick LIFE not LIES!
God will never leave us or forsake us; God is always there, and NOTHING can separate us from His Love. He is ALWAYS aware of what we are experiencing so it is up to us to choose to focus on His truth in the matter instead of leaning on our own understanding or a suggestion from the faither of lies.

If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath.
Proverbs 3:5-12 The Message Version
5-12 Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life! Honor God with everything you own; give him the first and the best. Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over. But don’t, dear friend, resent God’s discipline; don’t sulk under his loving correction. It’s the child he loves that God corrects; a father’s delight is behind all this.
The essence embedded within this message demands that you carefully consider whose testimony you are inclined to accept as valid.
Are you firmly rooted in the realm of LIFE or do you find yourself being swayed by the deceitful whispers of LIES? Let us embrace the boundless possibilities that LIFE has to offer, holding steadfast to the truth and radiating optimism in every step we take. Embrace the power of positivity and let your light shine brightly amidst the darkest of times. Together, we can conquer any challenge that comes our way and bask in the joyful triumph of living a life filled with hope and optimism.
What is it…. What keeps you tossing and turning… What have you asked God for? What do you long for? What do you wake up with on your mind, heart, and that is in your spirit?
If you have put it before our Father in prayer and asked…God has heard you! God is not deaf.
Now, the challenge is just believing for the impossible.
So, what if you did that and somehow what you asked was not answered the way you asked for it to be answered?
Remember Gods ways of working things out for our good is the BEST Way because – 1 Corinthians 2:9 King James Version 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
So, come back to HIM and just BELIEVE HE loves you and wants the very BEST for you EVEN if you don’t understand the Why? In due season you will – if you faint not!

Yes, it is time for us to all realize and embrace our personal life’s sweet spot and get to that life MORE Abundant type of daily living.
This year, this moment, this minute let’s all step into grace and love of God and move away from the doom of negativity and nothingness.

One more thing I just really desire everyone to know that somethings bad things happen and it sucks. It is not a pleasant situation to endure and it may feel like you are broken to the point of no return. BEFORE you make a final decision that it’s not worth living or I just can’t go through one more moment – take a pause and just ask yourself one last question…what if I take one more breath and then another and then another and then another and I just keep breathing…to the point where change DOES happen. Just don’t let the current situation dictate your destiny because YOU MATTER! I need you! God Loves YOU! and JESUS DIED for you so that you could learn how to keep breathing. God’s grace WILL help you overcome and get through to the NEXT LEVEL. I just ask you to ask yourself ONE last question – WHAT IF I just Breathe 1 more again and then again and then again and then again and then again and then again and then something BEAUTIFUL happens….I learn how to breathe again to get to the newness of life that I was originally destined to live in and through. I love you! But more importantly GOD LOVES YOU MORE!

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 The Message Version
19-20 I call Heaven and Earth to witness against you today: I place before you Life and Death, Blessing and Curse. Choose life so that you and your children will live. And love God, your God, listening obediently to him, firmly embracing him. Oh yes, he is life itself, a long life settled on the soil that God, your God, promised to give your ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Eventually if I keep breathing, I will learn how to make it through one step at a time and then the light will come back on in my life.
So now, I ask everyone to ask yourself before you give up one last question – what if I just take one more breath – and then another – and then another… So, if you are reading this, please know if you just take one more breath and then another and then another and then another, you will eventually get through to the better – it will get better and you will live and know better – SO, please – JUST BREATHE!

As I continue to press forward on my new journey and a new perspective for 2023: Mental Health & Wellness Matters, I know I have to not get weary while in pursuit of well-doing so that I will reap if I faint not. By refocusing on health and wellness, mental enhancement, and spiritual fortitude – I want to reach something different in my life where I can see freedom exuding from every pour of my existence. Freedom to flourish is my aim.
I think about how the first step of my personal freedom was an acceptance that with Christ as my redeemer I can do all things and be all things and overcome all things as He did. He who the Son sets free is free indeed!

34-38 Jesus said, “I tell you most solemnly that anyone who chooses a life of sin is trapped in a dead-end life and is, in fact, a slave. A slave can’t come and go at will. The Son, though, has an established position, the run of the house. So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through. I know you are Abraham’s descendants. But I also know that you are trying to kill me because my message hasn’t yet penetrated your thick skulls. I’m talking about things I have seen while keeping company with the Father, and you just go on doing what you have heard from your father.”

You will answer one way or the other for the choice you make here on earth – as we all will. What isC.P.R. + N.O.W.mean to me and anyone who reviews this message?I think humanity is at a code blue status and is about to flatline into a death crisis if we do not pivot so, we need to have a recussitation stat or we will cease to exists!
Isn’t it time for you, me, all of us to live our best lives! Let’s shift it into gear for next-level living where we are actually obtaining the “hoped for good” in our lives. Time for us to achieve the bucket list of goals we once thought were so far off and removed from our grasps.
