God has given us all, so it is our reasonable service to do the same.
Romans 12:1 NLT And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice — the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.
I woke up this morning thinking and reflecting on a message that I recently heard from an online ministry service. What kept resonating with me is in order to really obtain life and that life that I desire that moves into a greater next level, I need to do more. What more do I need to do?
I need to do more that is different than what I have done before today. I want to know more about God and that requires me to develop my relationship differently with Him. I do get up early and pray (sometimes I do fall back asleep). I am making more of an effort to stay awake and pray. I write down what I get when I wake up in the mornings before I begin my work day. I want to move into a more intimate and higher level than this surface scratch that I am doing now. This means I need to give more than just my reasonable service and really a “Tenth/10%/Tithe” just wont cut it any longer.
I thought about do I even give 10% of my 24 hours in a day to the Lord in developing my relationship with him? Often 10% or tithes is thought of as the monetary obligation to provide for God’s Kingdom work, I am believing my “reasonable service” requires so much more. I desire to know more of God and be called His friend, yet am I willing to put in the work and dedicate my entire life for this relationship?
When I reflect on my day – the 24 hours that I am given daily – I have to be transparent and honestly say I spend more time doing things that does not nurture my relationship with God. So, what do I really treasure? Am I distracted by things (work, family, television shows, social media, phone games, sleep, food, just anything that does not help me grow in my love relationship with the Lord)? Where is my heart’s treasure/focus? I have no excused. I need to change and do it now – urgently because every moment I have been provided in this life is special. God’s love for me is one born out of grace and mercy. Now, I don’t have to do something out of obligation or obedience – even though obedience is better than sacrifice. I want to grow in my relationship because I love God and the “proof is in the pudding.” When you love something you actively give your attention to that which is the object of your desire.
So, yes Lord, I do love you and am growing in love with you more each day.
Like in a marriage commitment when we vow “I do” it should mean a promise that regardless of everything and anything, this is forever.
Am I really committed for an eternity to grow in my relationship with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?
I am thinking I need to do more than just a Tenth. God gave me more than just a 10th of Himself, He provided 100% so why do I think my “reasonable service” would be less than 100% too?
In 2024, I really want more and I know I must do more to obtain that fully realized manifested dream into a visualized and tangible reality for myself. So, am I going to do more than “just a tenth?”

As I continue to press forward on my life’s journey and a evolving perspective for this new year with continuing it as EXPLORE MORE OF HIM in 2024: FREE INDEED – LIFE, Peace, Purpose, and Mental Health & Wellness Matters, I know I have to not get weary while in pursuit of well-doing so that I will reap if I faint not. By refocusing on health and wellness, mental enhancement, and spiritual fortitude – I want to reach something different in my life where I can see freedom exuding from every pour of my existence. Freedom to flourish is my aim.
I think about how the first step of my personal freedom was an acceptance that with Christ as my redeemer I can do all things and be all things and overcome all things as He did. He who the Son sets free is free indeed!
John 8:34-38 The Message Version
34-38 Jesus said, “I tell you most solemnly that anyone who chooses a life of sin is trapped in a dead-end life and is, in fact, a slave. A slave can’t come and go at will. The Son, though, has an established position, the run of the house. So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through. I know you are Abraham’s descendants. But I also know that you are trying to kill me because my message hasn’t yet penetrated your thick skulls. I’m talking about things I have seen while keeping company with the Father, and you just go on doing what you have heard from your father.”

You will answer one way or the other for the choice you make here on earth – as we all will. What isC.P.R. + N.O.W.mean to me and anyone who reviews this message?I think humanity is at a code blue status and is about to flatline into a death crisis if we do not pivot so, we need to have a recussitation stat or we will cease to exists!
Isn’t it time for you, me, all of us to live our best lives! Let’s shift it into gear for next-level living where we are actually obtaining the “hoped for good” in our lives. Time for us to achieve the bucket list of goals we once thought were so far off and removed from our grasps. We can and will do this one step at a time, one dream realized at a time, one conversation at a time can spark the fire needed to fuel our promise fulfillment! Amen INDEED!
