Yes, I have had a rough time of it along my life’s journey. Some of it has been self-inflicted and some of it has been at the hands of others. As a woman of color; I have had to navigate life as a diplomat. I have to ensure my family is informed on the ways of this world and also empowered to make a difference in this world regardless of the obstacles presented. I will say that wanting better and deserving better is warranted. I will say getting better is a task I have undertaken personally.
