Ezekiel 37:1-14 The Message

Breath of Life

37 ^1-2 God grabbed me. God’s Spirit took me up and set me down in the middle of an open plain strewn with bones. He led me around and among them—a lot of bones! There were bones all over the plain—dry bones, bleached by the sun.

³ He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

I said, “Master God, only you know that.”

⁴ He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones: ‘Dry bones, listen to the Message of God!’”

^5-6 God, the Master, told the dry bones, “Watch this: I’m bringing the breath of life to you and you’ll come to life. I’ll attach sinews to you, put meat on your bones, cover you with skin, and breathe life into you. You’ll come alive and you’ll realize that I am God!”

^7-8 I prophesied just as I’d been commanded. As I prophesied, there was a sound and, oh, rustling! The bones moved and came together, bone to bone. I kept watching. Sinews formed, then muscles on the bones, then skin stretched over them. But they had no breath in them.

⁹ He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath. Prophesy, son of man. Tell the breath, ‘God, the Master, says, Come from the four winds. Come, breath. Breathe on these slain bodies. Breathe life!’”

¹⁰ So I prophesied, just as he commanded me. The breath entered them and they came alive! They stood up on their feet, a huge army.

¹¹ Then God said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Listen to what they’re saying: ‘Our bones are dried up, our hope is gone, there’s nothing left of us.’

^12-14 “Therefore, prophesy. Tell them, ‘God, the Master, says: I’ll dig up your graves and bring you out alive—O my people! Then I’ll take you straight to the land of Israel. When I dig up graves and bring you out as my people, you’ll realize that I am God. I’ll breathe my life into you and you’ll live. Then I’ll lead you straight back to your land and you’ll realize that I am God. I’ve said it and I’ll do it. God’s Decree.’”

My reply/comment to Brenda’s post from the Ezekiel text:

God is awesome and always confirms His word for us.  Yesterday in my “Thankful Revolution” that the Lord has allowed me to initiate was Turn around Thursday.  He took me on a journey of the life of Ezekiel and the exact passage of Dry Bones.  What an awesome prayer that I will use and share with others so they too can have the “dry bones of their life” become alive again.  Also, He allowed me to dance in His courts which is such a wonderful privilege and humble blessing…I did not want to leave being in front of Him and His throne giving Him all that I have within me as a tribute of my adoration, love and commitment to our life together.  Thank you for developing such an awesome site of resources for exhortation, edification and encouragement. May you continue to find wisdom, knowledge, understanding and favor in the word of the Lord as He reveals Himself to you.  May your sphere of influence expand into all the kingdoms of this world as we co-labor together to expand and establish and plant and build God’s Kingdom here on earth as it is in Heaven.  May the comforter our resident Holy Spirit always lead and guide you with bountiful blessings as the destination and may you always have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to the church and the bride that is making herself ready without spot or wrinkle.  May you always possess an urgency for the times and seasons of our Father’s reconnection of His family through the return of our elder brother Jesus Christ appearing.  May you continue to scribe through prophetic utterance what the Father’s heart expresses and may your ears only be open to the vision of our Lord and mouth only speak the truth of God’s word and hands only type and touch that which is authorized by the Father and feet only walk on the narrow path that the Lord has set forth even before you entered this world from your mother’s womb.  May you continue to leap for joy at the love relationship you and the Father have every day and have that exude in all of your doings.  God continual favor, mercy, blessings and remarkable anointing rest rule and abide in all your dwellings (spirit ,mind, body, and natural abode).  May your legacy be one for all your generations to walk in God’s blood bought covenant blessings.  May those you impact also have a ripple effect so that they too will become transformed and live the life of the original Master’s plan for them and all their household.  Thank you Lord for this to be done as it is in heaven it is in earth today…now and forevermore.  Amen indeed.

Can Dead Bones live again? YES!

With God NOTHING is impossible. God gave His word on the matter. Ezekiel spoke God’s word on the matter. God then poured out His spirit on the matter. Dead and Dry Bones then lived again and became a mighty army. YES, with God Dry Bones of hopelessness can be revived, resuscitated, and renewed again to have LIFE and That Life MORE Abundant. Renewal occurs. Hope restored. New Life can happen. Lifelessness ceases. YES God, when Faith Speaks it becomes so…Beloved, God sees the valley of dry bones in your life. God heard the cries and mourning in the graveyard of the souls that have passed away. Beloved, see to know God’s word on the matter and that word hear ye today is rise up and be made whole. Allow the prophetic word that speaks through God’s word to be yours today. Allow the Holy Spirit to renew you. Take off all grave clothes and sack cloths. Take on life and that life MORE Abundant. It is time to rise up and become part of the army of the Lord. Allow the promised land that God desires you to reside and to be yours today. This is the hope and expected end that is ours today. As we reflect on the following musical closing, let us remember that all of our blessings come from God. He is the author and finisher of our faith. He created us in the beginning and poured out His Spirit into our bodies. He can do anything and if we just trust Him at His word with no doubt and fear we can be confident that a mere mountain can be moved out of our way. We are blessed! Amen Indeed! Thank You Lord.
