So, today as we commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday there may be some who are saddened by grief. I woke up reflecting on the pain that loss provides those who endure through, sit with it, deal with the isolation of, and are shackled with the burden to survive regardless. So, the Father with the aid of my resident Holy Spirit birthed out of my soul a song called “Consoled By You” and renewed my passion to pursue purpose in songwriting. I trust you God because you said it is done and I believe it to be so. Also, you know I am holding on for life until you bless me and I visibly have the tangible, manifested, and full fruition results of your blessings in my life. What I asked through prayer, I trust you have already completed, so I praise you for the passion to pursue while in pain the purpose for the position you have called me to exists.
God gives us a new song. Today I woke up remembering those who have passed away. Lord, I thank you for your healing, comfort, and promise. From pain to prayer to pursuit helps brings to pass your purpose and position.
I am not a great singer yet this is the new song of my heart for all who are missing someone and grieving. Just to let you know God hears your heart cries and will provide the comfort you need. It may not seem like it and you may feel all alone like no one understands your pain, but God does and He will never leave or forsake you.

When I shared the song with my son – Lionel D. Stevens – he said I need to do something with it because it is good. I prayed and asked God for direction.
God gave me an artist and it is funny that her solo career name is DOE – from her given name Dominique. My son’s middle name is Dominique. NO Coincidence when it comes to the path and plans of our Lord! So, there was a song that came into my view when I searched her out online that is so aligned with my passion project for 2023. This song is entitled “When I pray” is not that so like God to just bring into our confirmation MORE songs, word, people, and direction that lines up with the breathings of our heart.

So, after listening to DOE’s music and reviewing her website, I also remembered another artist who blessed me named Jamie Grace. She is so key to the Mental Health & Wellness audience as her testimony can be found throughout her website and music too. A song that has blessed me through the years is a Beautiful Day (listen to it below).
I started reviewing Jamie’s and DOE’s websites and then hit subscribed to them on their websites and Instagram. I am still getting the hang of Instagram lol. I even wrote Jamie a Ask Jamie email about songwriting. And I posted on DOE music a declaration of clarity.
Although I am green (new, fresh, unexperienced) about the music writing and music industry, I am going to launch out into the deep like God says to just do it. So, I will throw out my fishing line and believe for the bites. God says it is done. Now, as I wait on him, I am waiting by continually doing that which I know to do – pray, trust, and write.
God says make your request known, so I do and I know with God ALL things are possible.
This day let us Rejoice and Be Glad in it for all of the opportunities and challenges we face the word is out there that it is finished and it is a good result for us where we are blessed!
As we embrace this new project assignment the knowledge that God has everything in order according to His timing and season should bring comfort and continue to launchpad our faith into a firm foundation. Peace be unto you all!

I ask the Lord God to create in me a new heart a changed heart so that I may not sin against Him. I really desire that I experience an awesome relationship with the Lord God in such a manner that His glory is revealed and we all can have a beautiful existence in this life and beyond.
Also, just to let you know, GOD LOVES YOU just the way you are and HE desires you to come to HIM just the way you are so that you can have life and that life more abundantly without shame, hindrance, or belittlement. He has made a way for liberation to be yours 24-7. How you may ask?

I think being unshackled to live a better to the best life ever is the main objective for me. It has come with the revelation that life is always changing and I must change or “go with the flow” as well. Change is inevitable and should be welcomed. Sometimes to pursue purpose means to take a dare or risk on an unknown. Often that unknown creates an opportunity to be released into a greater realm of the living. A new journey and a new perspective. By refocusing on health and wellness, mental enhancement, and spiritual fortitude – I want to reach something different in my life where I can see freedom exuding from every pour of my existence. Freedom to flourish is my aim.
I think about how the first step of my personal freedom was an acceptance that with Christ as my redeemer I can do all things and be all things and overcome all things as He did.He who the Son sets free is free indeed!
John 8:34-38 The Message Version

Revelation 12
The Voice
12 As I looked, a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman came into view clothed in the radiance of the sun, standing with the moon under her feet, and she was crowned with a wreath of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was painfully pregnant and was crying out in the agony of labor. 3 Then a second sign appeared in heaven, ominous, foreboding: a great red dragon, with seven crowned heads and ten horns. 4 The dragon’s tail brushed one-third of the stars from the sky and hurled them down to the earth. The dragon crouched in front of the laboring woman, waiting to devour her child the moment it was born.
5 She gave birth to a male child, who is destined to rule the nations with an iron scepter. Before the dragon could bite and devour her son, the child was whisked away and brought to God and His throne. 6 The woman fled into the wilderness, where God had prepared a place of refuge and safety where she could find sustenance for 1,260 days.
The sign that appears in the vision is of a celestial woman who gives birth to a son. While it’s possible this could refer to Mary, the mother of Jesus, it is also possible this is a symbol of God’s chosen people. The faithful remnant of Israel is the womb that carried the Lord and delivered Him to the world. While the great red dragon does his best to destroy and devour Him, God has another plan. Since then, the dragon and his minions have done their best to harangue and persecute the woman’s children. But again he does not have the final word.
7 A battle broke out in heaven. Michael, along with his heavenly messengers, clashed against the dragon. The dragon and his messengers returned the fight, 8 but they did not prevail and were defeated. As a result, there was no place left for them in heaven. 9 So the great dragon, that ancient serpent who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world, was cast down to the earth along with his messengers. 10 Then I heard a great voice in heaven.
A Voice: Now the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God
and the authority of His Anointed One have come.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who relentlessly accuses them day and night before our God,
has been cast down and silenced.
11 By the blood of the Lamb
and the word of their witnesses,
they have become victorious over him,
For they did not hold on to their lives, even under threat of death.
12 Therefore, rejoice, all you heavens;
celebrate, all you who live in them.
But disaster will befall the earth and the sea,
for the devil has come down to your spheres,
And he is incredibly angry
because he knows his time is nearly over.
13 When the dragon realized he had been cast down to the earth, he pursued the mother of the male infant. 14 In order to escape the serpent, she was given the two wings of the great eagle to fly deeper into the wilderness to her own special place where she would find sustenance for a time, and times, and half a time. 15 Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a raging river that chased after the woman, trying to sweep her away in the flood. 16 But the earth came to her rescue. It opened its gaping mouth and swallowed the river that spewed from the dragon’s mouth. 17 As a result, the dragon was enraged at the woman and went away to make war on the rest of her children—those who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to the testimony of Jesus.
18 And [the dragon][a] stood waiting on the sand of the seashore.

The Voice
1 Simon Peter, a servant and emissary[a] of Jesus the Anointed One, to those who have received the same precious faith we share through the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus the Anointed. 2 I wish you a full measure of grace and peace as you grow in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
3 His divine power has given us everything we need to experience life and to reflect God’s true nature through the knowledge of the One who called us by His glory and virtue. 4 Through these things, we have received God’s great and valuable promises, so we might escape the corruption of worldly desires and share in the divine nature.
God took the first step to rescue us from this corrupt world. He has granted us His power, revealed to us true knowledge, and spoken to us great promises. He has done all this for a reason: that we might participate in His own nature and reflect His own life. But we are not passive observers of God’s saving actions. We must receive His grace, grow in knowledge, and join Him in this work of redemption.
5 To achieve this, you will need to add virtue to your faith, and then knowledge to your virtue; 6 to knowledge, add discipline; to discipline, add endurance; to endurance, add godliness; 7 to godliness, add affection for others as sisters and brothers; and to affection, at last, add love. 8 For if you possess these traits and multiply them, then you will never be ineffective or unproductive in your relationship with our Lord Jesus the Anointed; 9 but if you don’t have these qualities, then you will be nearsighted and blind, forgetting that your past sins have been washed away. 10 Therefore, brothers and sisters, work that much harder to confirm that God has called you and claimed you. If you do this, then you will never fall along the way; 11 and you can be sure that you will be richly welcomed into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Anointed, our Liberating King.
12 That is why I will keep reminding you of these things, even though I know that you believe them and have made these truths a part of your lives; 13 as long as I draw breath, I know it is right for me to keep on stirring you up with these reminders. 14 I know that soon I must die and lay down this old body that’s been my home—our Lord Jesus the Anointed has told me so. 15 But before my exodus from this life, I want to be certain you will be able to call these things to mind anytime you need them even after I am gone.
Faith does not rest upon cleverly devised fables invented by creative minds; it rests upon the testimonies of eyewitnesses who faithfully pass down what they see and hear to others.
16 For I want to remind you that when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus the Anointed, we were relying on what our eyes had seen of His glorious majesty, not on cleverly told fables. 17 You see, God the Father lavished honor and glory upon Jesus when the voice of the Majestic Glory echoed from heaven and said, “This is My beloved Son, and My favor rests on Him.”[b] 18 We witnessed this—we ourselves heard this voice from heaven—when we were with Jesus on that holy mountain. 19 We have a fuller confirmation of the message of the prophets. You would do well to pay close attention to this word; it is like a light that shines for you in the darkness of night until the day dawns when the morning star rises in your own hearts.
Peter and two other disciples see Jesus transfigured. This event and the heavenly voice confirm Jesus’ true identity and are a prelude to the greatest miracle of all—the resurrection.
20 But notice first that no prophecy found in Scripture is a matter of the prophet’s own interpretation. 21 Prophecy has never been a product of human initiative, but it comes when men and women are moved to speak on behalf of God by the Holy Spirit.
